The Book Review Competition held at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Pratapgarh proved to be an enriching and intellectually stimulating event that encouraged students to dive deeper into the world of books and develop analytical thinking.
Students were invited to choose a book of their interest — fiction, non-fiction, biographies, or inspirational stories — and present a thoughtful review covering key aspects such as plot, characters, message, and personal insights.
The competition aimed not only to promote the habit of reading but also to strengthen public speaking, comprehension, and critical reflection. Participants shared their reviews with clarity and confidence, some even creatively connecting the book’s message with real-life scenarios.
The event saw enthusiastic participation across grades and was judged on the basis of clarity, content, presentation skills, originality, and understanding of the book.
The competition concluded with encouraging feedback from the teachers and an inspiring message about how “books are not just stories, but stepping stones to wisdom.”
📖 The Book Review Competition helped instill a deeper appreciation for literature and reminded students that every book holds the power to change perspectives.
