As part of our commitment to holistic education, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Pratapgarh Campus has launched a Financial Literacy Program for students of Classes XI and XII, aimed at preparing them for the real-world responsibilities of money management and economic decision-making.
The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy’s emphasis on life skills and practical knowledge. Through these sessions, students are introduced to the basics of personal finance, budgeting, banking, digital payments, and the importance of saving and investing.
Key focus areas include:
- Understanding income, expenses, and budgeting basics
- Introduction to banking services, debit/credit cards, and UPI
- Basics of saving accounts, interest rates, and online transactions
- Responsible financial behavior and avoiding online fraud
- Real-life scenarios involving financial decision-making
The sessions are interactive and activity-based, using examples from everyday life to help students connect theory with practice. Students also engage in discussions, role-plays, and mini projects such as creating sample budgets or evaluating spending patterns.
💡 The Financial Literacy Program is a valuable addition to our curriculum — equipping students with essential life skills and building a strong foundation for financial independence in their future.
